As a general notion pizza is considered as a junk food that are rich in carbs, but what if we can prepare a low carb keto pizza.
Yes, you read it right. Below is the recipe of keto friendly pizza. Serve hot & enjoy the taste.
Microwave/heat at medium flame; the mozzarella and cream cheese for 45 seconds or until slightly melted.
Stir vigorously until the cream cheese is fully incorporated. (Initially it may seem a little hard at first but will soon come together)
Further, add in the egg, almond flour, baking powder, and herbs. Mix until dough is prepared, it might seem a little sticky but it’s fine.
Now make a chapati kind of round flatten shape, either by greasing your hands & then flattening it or you can use parchment paper, put the dough & roll it using roller(belan).
The flatten round dough has to be baked twice, once for the crust to bake and the next for the cheese and toppings.
Firstly bake it for 10 minutes, meanwhile prepare the toppings.
Add your favorite sauces and toppings to the pizza crust, use low carb tomato sauce, basil leaves,cottage cheese slices,oregano etc. and return to the oven to bake for another 5-8 minutes.
Check whether the crust has achieved desired crispness and the cheese is melted! If yes, enjoy it hot.
