Ingredients

moong dal
1/2 to 3/4

Chopped veggies (spinach, lauki, carrots, pumpkin)

Instructions
Wash moong dal till the water runs clear.
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add cumin and allow it to splutter.
Add grated ginger and saute it. Do not let it burn.
Now add the washed dal to the pressure cooker and fry for 3-4 min.
Then add salt & chopped veggies and fry for 2 min. Now pour water and pressure cook for 1-2 whistles on a low to medium flame.
When the pressure goes off, add pepper powder and mash the dal. You can also blend it in a blender.
Garnish the soup with coriander and serve hot in soup bowls.
