Add the olive oil to a medium pot and heat on medium heat then mince the garlic and onion and add them in it and cook for 2-3 minutes, until it becomes soft.
Add the tomato paste in it and mix well with the onions.
Then add the crushed tomatoes and all of the spices. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
