Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a wok or non-stick pan and deep-fry the onions on a low-medium heat until they become nice golden brown.
  2. Remove the fried onions from the pan and mix them with yogurt and put it in a blender to get a creamy thick paste.
  3. Reheat ghee in the pan. Upon heating, add cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, green cardamom pods, and black peppercorns. Fry for another 30 seconds or until they start to sizzle.
  4. Add chicken drumsticks. Season thoroughly with salt. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and fry for about 2 minutes more.
  5. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and cumin powder. Combine and mix well.
  6. Add the fried onion yogurt paste, combine well. Add some water and mix gently. Water can be used to rinse out the blender so do not waste any of the paste.
  7. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked and tender.
  8. Garnish it with fresh cilantro or coriander leaves.
  9. Keto chicken korma is ready! Serve hot.
