Uttapam is a very popular South Indian dish. It can be enjoyed as a thicker variant of dosa and is generally served with mint or coconut chutney as well as sambar.
Take a bowl and put all the ingredients in it except butter and water. Mix it thoroughly into a uniform paste.
Now add water to the bowl, adding it 1 tbsp at a time and keep mixing gently to form a thick paste. Grease a non-stick pan with the ghee and keep it aside.
Layer an adequately sized circle from the batter.
Cook uttapam on medium heat ensuring that the uttapam has no cracks on it.
Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes or until a crust forms. Use a spatula to check. Now, flip it over gently to the other side and cook again until it becomes crisp.
Your Keto uttapam is ready! Remove the uttapam from the pan and serve it hot with your favorite sauce, coconut chutney or mint chutney.
