Coconut and Jaggery Modak
Traditional Steamed/ fried Coconut and Jaggery Modak Recipe are made from rice flour stuffed with grated coconut and jaggery mixture. Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations can never be complete without modak.
Instructions
Combine the wheat flour and enough water to knead the dough.
Cover it and keep it aside.
For the filling:
Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
Take the dough and make small balls.
Roll them, and add filling mixture and give them modak shape.
Take a pan, add little oil and fry the modaks (you can even steam them).Fry till you get golden brown colour.
Drain the excess oil and serve hot.
